Romanian Pop singer Alexandra Stan returns with "Cherry Pop" – Listen/Watch Now

Following the ballad "Thanks for Leaving", Romanian singer-songwriter Alexandra Stan returned with another song titled "Cherry Pop". It will be included on her upcoming second album, scheduled to be released later this year via Fonogram Studios / Roton Records.




The track was written and composed by Alexandra Stan, Lukas Hällgren, and Erik Lidbom, who also produced it. "Cherry Pop" is a catchy electro-pop / J-Pop inspired tune, but its definitely no "Mr. Saxobeat". The hook is repetitive: "Pop pop, che-cherry che-cherry pop pop". Its a lyric that could get stuck in your head. The music video is colorful and reminds me of several K-Pop videos. I do think the song should have charted by now, especially in Europe and it hasn't.
