New Music: Ciara - Sweat (Feat. 2 Chainz)

Ciara has returned with a brand-new single "Sweat" featuring 2 Chainz. The track serves as the first official single from her upcoming fifth studio album "One Woman Army", set to hit stores this year. The new album will be her first since reuniting with L.A. Reid, leaving Jive Records and signing a deal with Epic Records. 

"Sweat" is a bass-heavy club track, that reminiscent some of her past material like "Work", "Gimmie Dat" and "Oh". The song is not bad, but I can't it will be hit on Billboard Hot 100. Ciara needs to do some different besides doing crunk music. We're not in 2004 anymore. When it comes to radio, I don't see this being played on the pop channels. Its an urban record. My point is she needs to cater to both, a song like "Love, Sex, & Magic" to me had pop and slightly urban sound to it.

Overall I wasn't blown away by it. The song will be available to purchase June 19th on iTunes. Listen to the track, after the jump.
