Rihanna breaks UK records!

Rihanna has broken the British chart records by becoming the first female artist to have five number one single every year since 2007.  ‘Umbrella’, ‘Take A Bow’, ‘Run This Town’, ‘Only Girl’, and ‘What’s My Name’. 

The Offical Chart Company announed her record after "What My Name" went from #2 to #1. The last artist to achieve this record was Elvis Presley.  He had UK numbers ones for each year in 1957 and 1963.  At the moment Rihanna still holds the number one spot.  Loud has sold 900,000 copies in the UK since its release in November.  This is giving her, her second UK Chart double of her career.
