Jennifer Lopez confirmed to perform on American Idol before the finale

Jennifer Lopez has been confirmed to be performing on American Idol.  American Idol executive producer Nigel Lythgoe confirms that Jen will be performing on the show and will be sometime before the finale.  It is not known at the moment what she will perform.

In a previous interview, she confirmed she wants to release her new album "Love?" in late May.  The finale of American Idol is in May and it seems like she's going to use the show to further her success.
