Britney Spears "Femme Fatale" debuts at #1

Britney Spears seventh studio album "Femme Fatale" has debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, it has sold a total of 279k. Her last studio album "Circus" sold 505k in the first week.

This is Britney's sixth studio album to debut at #1.  This puts her in the category of having the most #1 albums from a solo female artist, right along with Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson.
