2012 BET Awards: Winners
The 2012 BET Awards took place last night (Sunday) July 1st at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Beyonce, Chris Brown and others walked away with awards. Honestly I didn't watch the BET Awards last night. What really turned me off about it was the nominations was Beyonce and Jay-Z & Kanye West having two videos each nominated in the same category (Video of the Year). Another thing I didn't like was Beyonce winning Best Female R&B Artist, to me she's really doesn't do R&B music and neither does Rihanna (Note: Rihanna won the award last year).
And I not even going to get started on that win for Video Director of the Year for "Party". Just to sum it all up, these award shows today are based on a 'Popularity Contest', which is sad.
