Dawn Richard releases new track "On A String" + preps Christmas EP

While we wait for her highly-anticipated debut studio album "Goldenheart", singer/songwriter Dawn Richard has released a new track for the fans titled "On a String". The stripped-down record was produced by longtime collaborator Druski. You'll hear Dawn singing about no longer being controlled like a puppet in her lovers game.

Her debut album isn't going to hit stores untill January 15th, 2013. So to hold off the fans, she has announced the release of Christmas EP that will drop the first week of December.

"The Hearts asked if we were going to do another record like 'December Sky' for Christmas", said Dawn of her 2011 iTunes release. "Drew and I thought why not do an entire EP? It'll be Christmas records but don't expect "Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire". It's not a traditional Christmas album at all".
