Tamar Braxton is the youngest sister of R&B/Soul singer Toni Braxton has made her official comeback to the music scene after being on hiatus for twelve years. The new single is titled "Love and War", it serves as the first official single from her upcoming sophomore studio album "Love and War". The album is set to hit stores on February 12th, 2013 via Streamline Records. This will be the follow-up of her self-titled debut "Tamar", that was released in 2000.

The track is very old-school R&B, which fit Tamar vocal abilities  I'm really impressed by the song, before this I never really took her seriously. Due to the American market being oversaturated with pop and dance music, so I doubt it will get the huge attention that it deserves.

When the song came out, it quickly rose to #2 on the iTunes single charts. It has official charted the Billboard Hot 100 at # 57, while debuting at #13 on R&B/Hip-Hop Singles, #3 R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Songs, #5 on R&B songs and #12 on Hot Digital Songs.
