Introducing: Mikky Ekko
Mikky Ekko is a upcoming singer-songwriter-producer who was born in Louisiana, but grew up in Mississippi and then eventually moved to Nashville. After settling in Nashville, he went on to perform with several bands and that's when he began his role as a songwriter. Soon after he realized he wanted to become a singer and started crafting his own music.
In 2009, Mikky has released three EP's with the first being "Strange Fruit" EP. The music was produced by Tim Lauer, it contained some songs he'd written himself. Most of music was a capella. He continued to Lauer and Dan Hansen (engineer) for 2010 EP's "REDS" and "BLUES". One of the tracks from REDS, "Who Are You, Really?", caught the attention of hip-hop producer Clams Casino, whose has also worked with A$AP Rocky, Lil B and The Weeknd. Casino went on to work with Ekko on his latest 2012 single "Pull Me Down". Other singles released that year were "Feels Like the End" and "We Must Be Killers" which was featured on the second season of Teen Wolf.

The talented artist wrote, produced and featured on with Rihanna on "Stay", which was included on her seventh studio album "Unapologetic". Last night at the 2013 Grammy Awards he performed "Stay" with Rihanna for the first time.
For his debut album, Ekko will be working with Clams Casino as well as other well-known producers including Paul Epworth (Adele, Florence and the Machine), Elof (Niki and the Dove), John Hill (M.I.A., Santigold) and Dave Sitek (TV On The Radio, Yeah Yeah Yeahs).
