New Music: Mariah Carey - The Art of Letting Go

After releasing a song for the Oz the Great and Powerful soundtrack and her Miguel-assisted hit "#Beautiful", Mariah Carey is back with a new single titled "The Art of Letting Go. The track serves as the second official single from her upcoming album also called "The Art of Letting Go", which is set to hit stores and digital retailers which early next year via Island Records.

"The Art of Letting Go" is piano-led ballad that showcases Mariah's vocals, she sings about life after heartbreak.

"This is such a personal record to me. I wrote the lyrics so that anyone and everyone could relate to them and hopefully release anything that they need to let go of that's holding them back or bringing them down", Mariah shared along with the song. "Thank you for sharing this experience with me!"

Nice song, but it doesn't sound like its single material. "The Art of Letting Go" should have been an standard album track include on the new album.
