2NE1 releases digital single "Missing You" + Reveals music video

Toward the ended of 2013, 2NE1 closed their the year out with a new digital single and music video for "Missing You".

In 2011, they had a very successful run with "I'am the Best", "Ugly", and "Lonely". Those songs were some of the best to come out that year. Unfortunately, things started to go down hill with the 180 degree turn in the change of the music. "I Love You" wasn't what fans were expecting. On top of that, they were pulled away from promoting it to embark on a world tour that was unneeded at the time. YG should have had them concentrate on working on the album, put it out and then tour. Just another sign of miss management for the agency, but anyway that caused us to have to wait a year for new music.

Here we are now, after waiting an unnecessary amount of time, the girls released two digital singles in the Summer of last year. To sum it all up, those songs were cheap very low quality material that seemed to have gotten rushed out by YG Entertainment. "Missing You" doesn't match up to "It Hurts" or the fantastic "Lonely", but its the best out of those clusterfuck of singles. Even though its the best, the track is still an emotional ballad. This song consent of beautiful harmonizing by the members that left a huge impression on me. The group does have some great voices (with the exception of Dara sometimes) and on this they delivered soothing vocal performance that flowed well with the beat. It starts out as chill electro beat and transitions into a piano melody. It may seem a bit weird at first when you hear it changes, but you'll get use to. Also its an emotional song, speaking about an emotional topic, you expect the mood of the production to change.

As of right now, 2NE1 have revealed teaser photos and video for their upcoming album and tour, which are both called "AON (All or Nothing)". Since this is being put out to the fans, the release of an album is heading our way very soon. Hopeful we'll get some better content this time around.
