Austin-based singer-songwriter Mélat is a very popular independent artist. She's been creating a lot of buzz on the music scene. It all started with the release of her debut EP "Canon Aphaea" back in 2012.

Mélat is the emerging artist of eclectic soul of modern R&B. She shares her own stories and inspired by her very own life experiences. From love, lust, success, to failure, Mélat sings about what it means to be a human being simply longing to "be".
