Beyonce confirmed to headline Glastonbury Festival

After online speculation, Beyonce has finally confirmed that she will be headlining this year’s Glastonbury Festival in South West England.  She will perform a 90-minute set on the last day which starts on June 22nd - June 26th.  As of now, their are no other headliners or acts confirmed for the festival.

“This really is the biggest festival in the world and I cannot wait to perform there” she reveals in an official statement. “Everyone who attends is really appreciative of music and is in such a good mood that entire weekend. I’m pumped just thinking about that huge audience and soaking up their energy”. Source

Bey has been working on her next studio album since last year, so the Glastonbury mini concert is a major promotional opportunity.
