Nicole Scherzinger sets U.S. date for debut album

Nicole Scherzinger will try to start her music career in the states once again.  Maybe with the new hosting gig with X Factor, she could find some success.

The album's first official U.S. single, "Right There" featuring 50 Cent will hit iTunes on Tuesday (May 17). She'll perform the track with 50 on "American Idol" Thursday (May 19th) and "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on May 24th.

"Killer Love", is currently available in the U.K. and will drop here in the U.S. on August 16th, Interscope Records has announced. Nicole has already scored a #1 hit with "Don't Hold Your Breath" and another Top 5 with "Poison" in the UK.  Both of those songs is set to be featured on the U.S. release, along with four or five new songs including a new track called "Peep Show" featuring Snoop Dogg, written by R. Kelly and Harvey Mason Jr.

The album "Killer Love" will feature productions RedOne, The-Dream, Tricky Stewart, Jim Jonsin, Harvey Mason Jr., and R. Kelly, and more.
