Beyoncé tops the Billboard Hot 200 with fourth album "4"

Nielsen SoundScan is reporting that Beyoncé's fourth studio album "4" has sold 310,000 units in the United States in the week, which means she scores the #1 Billboard Hot 200 chart. This makes Beyoncé's fourth album in a row to make it to #1 in the US. "4" is the third largest sales week of the year, right behind Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" (1.1 million) and Adele's 21 (351,000).
The album did debut with strong numbers, but this was the lowest first week sells of her career. In 2008 "I Am…Sasha Fierce" opened with 482,000, In 2006 B'Day came in with 541,000, and her debut album Dangerously in Love brought in 317,000 in 2003.
