Beyoncé denies plagiarism (again) for "Countdown" video

If you don't know, Beyoncé once again got caught stealing borrowing what you want to call it. Bey's recent music video "Countdown" features work from Belgian choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker who has recently accused her of stealing her ideas. It has the following: 'Achterland' from 1990 and 'Rosas danst Rosas' from 1983.

Check out the video proof below and a statement given by Beyoncé where she admits she was paying tribute to the work of Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker.

"Clearly, the ballet 'Rosas danst Rosas' was one of many references for my video 'Countdown'. It was one of the inspirations used to bring the feel and look of the song to life. I was also paying tribute to the film, 'Funny Face' with the legendary Audrey Hepburn. My biggest inspirations were the '60s, the '70s, Brigitte Bardot, Andy Warhol, Twiggy and Diana Ross. I've always been fascinated by the way contemporary art uses different elements and references to produce something unique".

No matter how inspired you are with something or someone, when you take something, you have to get permission. Point blank period. Its not that hard for her, the director (Adria Petty), or her team to call Anne up and ask could they use her work. Another thing that's apart of the problem is that Beyoncé lacking originally big time. Their's nothing wrong with being inspired, but it seems like almost everything she does has a reference to it like: "Sweet Dreams", "Single Ladies", 'Billboard Music Awards' performance just a name of few and now we have "Countdown". Might as well put "Love On Top" in that bunch too.

What she needs to do is to revamp her team, because their clearing running out of ideas. It's time to hire new people with some fresh and original concepts.
