Alanis Morissette has released a lyric video for her new single "Guardian". The song is the first single from her upcoming studio album "Havoc and Bright Lights", which is set for release on August 28 via Collective Sounds. The album was produced by Joe Chiccarelli (Jason Mraz, Christina Perri) and producer Guy Sigsworth (Madonna, Britney Spears).

Morissette spoke about her upcoming album: "This record, as always, is a snapshot of what I currently obsess about, care about, and what strikes me at 4 in the morning in my most introspective moments. It is my emotional, psychological, social and philosophical commentary through song".
