CHI CHI announces comeback with 3rd single "Love Is Energy"

After being away Korea for a year, CHI CHI will be returning with their 3rd single on June 29th. They have released the  jacket cover for their upcoming single "Love Is Energy". The group debuted last year with the single "Don't Play Around" and not too long ago, they were promoting a new single in Japan.

Representatives from their agency stated: "We prepared a lot for this album since it marks their first Korean album in nearly a year. They've changed in image 180 degrees from their previous concepts and have pursued a variety of different music genres that sets them apart trend wise. We're sure that you will be able to feel something new from this rebirth of CHI CHI".

When CHI CHI first debuted, it was 7-member girl group, but due to several reasons Nara, Ji-U and Peach withdraw from the group and was replaced by new member Shine. Which makes it just an 5-member group that includes Sui, A-zi, Boreum, Semi and Shine.

With the photo, the agency also announced: "The first song in a year for the Korean fans is different in all aspects from the original image of the girls… With the recruitment of new member Shine and reforming as a 5-member team, the group will embark on their promotions with the mindset that they’re making a new start".
