Dawn Richard announces new release date for "Goldenheart"

Well it looks like Dawn Richard will be releasing her debut studio album "GoldenHeart" next year (2013). The orignal date set for the project was October 16th and now it will hit stores on January 15th. Late last week, she posted a video announcing a distribution deal with Altavoz Distribution for her upcoming debut. It got pushed back, so the album can get packaged and put into stores like Target, BestBuy and others.

"It's a movement we are starting here," says Dawn about the upcoming album. "After all our hard work, we finally are expanding our art into stores.  We wanted to make Goldenheart available to all [hearts] not just digitally.  The project is too amazing to be limited to one portal of access.  It's time to get excited.  This is a big deal for us!"

The first single "86" is available to purchase on iTunes now.
