Video Premiere: Dawn Richard - 86

Dawn Richard has premiered the music video for her new single "'86". The track is the first official single from her full-length debut studio "GoldenHeart", which is in stores now.

The video was directed by Eugene Lee Yang, the visual pays homage to her past including Danity Kane, her childhood and her hometown New Orleans. "We're using all the things in my past that people may view as negative as a catalyst to be inspiring—to fight for something", Dawn recently explained.

I understand what the song means, but visually I was lost and didn't know what was going on half of the time.
