Little Boots returns with buzz single "Motorway" + New album "Nocturnes" due out May

British singer-songwriter Little Boots has announced that she will be releasing her highly-anticipated sophomore album titled "Nocturnes", which is set to hit stores on May 6 via Kobalt Music.

Right along with the album news, she has also released a buzz single "Motorway". It's available for a FREE download on her official website.

The track was co-produced by DFA Records co-founder Tim Goldsworthy. "Motorway" is a slightly dark dance track which piano driven. "Much of the 'dance music' we've been bombarded with of late leaves me cold", Boots said in a statement, "and recently it feels like Proper Songs have somehow gone out of fashion. So a big part of what I wanted to do on this record is show that you can produce dance-pop that’s both interesting and artistic, but maintains the magic of classic pop songwriting".
