New Music: Kat Dahlia - Fireman

Kat Dahlia created major buzz with her single "Gangsta", now the singer-rapper has released a free track titled "Fireman".

The track was produced by Cinematic. "Fireman" is a urban mid-tempo track that showcases both her signature/unique rapping ans singing. It doesn't go as hard as "Gangsta", but it's still a good effort and I enjoyed it.

She had an interview with interviewmagazine.com, where she talked about "Fireman":

"It's just something really, really different. Especially from what else is out there right now", Kat tells Interview. "The label had told me to hold off, you know, wait until I had an album [out] to release it. I was always really adamant about this record. We were going back and forth, but, finally, it’s coming out. It's definitely a good follow-up to ‘Gangsta’ and that whole sound".

Her debut album "My Garden" will be released in September via Sylvia Rhone’s Vested in Culture imprint on Epic Records. She's been working in the studio with Timbaland and Salaam Remi.
