Pixie Lott release promotional single "Heart Cry"
British singer-songwriter Pixie Lott hasn't active in the music scene since the release of her 2011 sophomore album "Young Foolish Happy". Thought a Google+ Hangout done in December 2013, she gave details about her upcoming third album, which is scheduled to be released in the UK this year via Interscope Records. On the Hangout included the reveal of the album title, the official album cover, and other information. The album is self-titled (Pixie Lott) and the first single from the project is called "Nasty". Before we get the chance to hear the single that will debut in January, she returned with a buzz single titled "Heart Cry".
Instead of releasing the audio for the song, she premiered a music video for the promotional single.
"Heart Cry" serves up a soulful retro sound with a big vocal delivery. Seems like Pixie is going back to her roots. Her debut album "Turn It Up" had a soulful pop vibe compared to "Young Foolish Happy". Note: It was a good album, but it didn't match to what I heard on her debut. The music video has a vintage feel and shows Pixie Lott walking around the streets of Paris throughout the day and into the night. It's not first single material, but it nice song to keep everybody excited and interested about the album.
