Stream: Janine And The Mixtape’s release of "Dark Mind" EP

In 2013, New Zealand born singer-songwriter, producer, and instrumentalist Janine and The Mixtape was making a lot of buzz within underground music scene. She brought her on spin to the new wave R&B trend. Janine is the definition of a true artist, she does anything from creating her own music from top to bottom, and designing her own artwork covers, visuals, and much more.

Following the release of her buzz track "Cold Out", and fan favorite single "Hold On", she dropped her debut EP titled "Dark Mind". The EP consists of five tracks, it was produced by Janine and The 83rd. Combining new wave R&B, 90's hip-hop production and airy synths, with soul-baring vocals and great writing abilities. She taking her horrible experiences and putting it into her music. It's like self-healing and of course Janine hopes it inspires others.
