YG reveals 1st member of new girl group 'Jennie'

It looks like its FINALLY going to happen this time. YG Entertainment will debut their new girl group in mid-late Summer. The company will be revealing details over the next month or two, including the unveiling of each individual group member. They'll release teaser photos each week of the confirmed members.

The first week of June, they released teaser photos through YG's official blog introducing Jennie Kim as the first member. She's well-known to the public already, as the girl in G-Dragon's MV 'That XX' and also featured on one of his songs. According to the agency, Jenny Kim is fluent in Korean, English, Japanese.
