Nicola Roberts first single is said to be MAEHJOREEE

One fifth of British pop group Girls Aloud, Nicola Roberts is set to go solo like her bandmates Cheryl Cole and Nadine Coyle.  The beautiful pale skinned diva is set to release her solo album her first single "Dance To The Beat of My Own Drum".

Stylist Joel Dash revealed the following via his official twitter...

"Previewed Nicola Roberts first solo single 'Dance To The Beat of My Drum' (produced by Diplo & Switch).. New sound = MAEHJOREEE!"

The song is produced by Diplo and Switch, who are also behind Beyoncé's new single "Who Run The World (Girls)".  Other collaborators on her album will include Metronomy and Dragonette.

Even thought I want another Girls Aloud album, I'm looking forward to hearing Nicola's material.  Do you think Nicola will find success like Cheryl or flop like Nadine?
