Pia Toscano premieres debut single "This Time" on KIIS FM with Ryan Seacrest

Over a week ago Pia Toscano announced she has officially signed a record deal with Interscope/19 Recordings. Pia premiered her debut single "This Time" today on KIIS FM with Ryan Seacrest. The track was produced by Brian Kennedy and was penned by Ester Dean (Rihanna, Nicki Minaj). The song will be performed on this summer's American Idol Live Tour.

I'm not in love with the song, it sounds like Jordin Sparks and Carrie Underwood mixed together. The best part of the song is when she's belts out towards the end. I'm not really expecting much too much success from this song. Hopefully the next single will catch my full attention.

The single will be avaible on iTunes on (Tuesday) July 12th. Pia's debut album is expected to come out this fall. Check out the song below.
