Katy Perry teams up with Missy Elliot to get "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)" to #1

Katy Perry is currently one chart position away from breaking Michael Jackson's record for having the most Hot 100 #1's from one album. She teamed up with Missy Elliot on Katy's latest single "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F), to hopyfully get song to the top. According to Billboard, the remix will impact radio and digital retailers on (Monday) August 8th.

Her previous singles "California Gurls", "Teenage Dream", "E.T.", and "Firework" all went to #1. I love Katy but I do see this as a desperate attempt to get the song to #1.
