Wonder Girls release teaser for new US single

JYP Entertainment released the first teaser South Korean girl group The Wonder Girls upcoming new single "The DJ Is Mine". The song serves as the first single from their upcoming first English studio album that's due out in mid-2012. It will feature teen pop girl group from School Gyrls. "The DJ Is Mine" is said to be apart of the OST for the group new Teen Nick movie, "THE WONDER GIRLS". The track was written by Crystal Nicole Johnson, who is a Grammy Award-winning songwriter who's worked with Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Rihanna and more.

The music video will makes its debut at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas on January 11th. The Wonder Girls, J.Y. Park and Nick Cannon will be at the presentation.

It seems like their moving away from the K-pop sound and going for a more American/European genre mix with a little dubstep. I like the snippet, but I don't want them to completely ban their original style of music. Check out the teaser, after the jump.
