Dirty Money's Kalenna prepares for solo mixtape "Chamber Of Diaries"

Just like her Dirty Money member Dawn Richard, Kalenna is stepping out of that group for the first time to release her solo mixtape. The singer will release "Chamber of Diaries" as a free download on February 13th (today) via her website. "I want people to know that I have experienced a lot of the same struggles they have faced in their lives," explained Kalenna. "At the same time I want be a role model for my fans by keeping two feet on the ground and standing for what I believe in."

Singles from the project include "Go to Work" and "Matte Black Truck". Chamber of Diaries features contributions from Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, Ryan Tedder, D'Mile, First Born, and She'kspere. To promote the upcoming release, Kalenna has unveiled the tribal cover art and four black-and-white images. Check out the photos, after the jump.
