Girls' Generation performs "The Boys" on the "Late Show with David Letterman"
On January 31st Girls' Generation made their U.S. television debut on CBS's "Late Night Show with David Letterman. They performed English US debut single "The Boys". If you don't know already, the group consist of Jessica Jung, Sunny, Tiffany, Kim Hyoyeon, Kwon Yuri, Choi Sooyoung, Im Yoona and Seohyun. Girls' Generation was the closing act of the night. Bill Murray, Regis Philbin and David Letterman introduced the girls and said: "Our next guests are a very popular group from South Korea who have just released their first album in America. It's entitled 'The Boys.' Please welcome, making their network television debut, Girls' Generation". The girls were all wearing black glittery outfits and high leather boots and flowing hair. Very appealing.
They absolutely killed their performance, the remixed version of the track included several dance breaks. One negative was the size of the stage, it wasn't enough room for them to move around. That piano was all in the way. It was a bit of lip-syncing, but for the most part it was sung live and sounded damn good. Check out their performance, after the jump.
GG FTW!
