Video Premiere: 2NE1 - Scream

Hip-hop/pop girl group 2NE1 didn't do so well in Japan last year with their debut mini-album. The group will be promoting and releasing their debut Japanese album titled "Collection". Which is literally a compilation of all their Korean tracks from previous albums translated into Japanese. I just find this very very pointless to  do. I wish they would done something similar to what Girls' Generation did with their debut Japanese album. They translated some of their Korean hits and actually recorded more than one new song for it. I love 2NE1, but I can see from a mile away that their going to flop big time with this album.

First Japanese single released was a remake of "Go Away", which disappointed. This time the group has giving us their first original Japanese song titled "Scream". "Scream" is energetic and is typical 2NE1, in a good way. It contains addictive electronic beats and hooks. The chorus of the song stands out the most, "scream ah ah ah ah ah". The music video shows all four members in their own individual set-up. Over all the video goes well with the song and is one 2NE1's best videos. "Collection" will available to purchase on March 28th. Check out the video, after the jump.
