Katy Perry to release "Wide Awake" as next single

Singer/songwriter Katy Perry isn't finished yet with releasing singles from the "Teenage Dream" era. The pop has confirmed that the follow-up to her #1 hit "Part Of Me", will be "Wide Awake". The song is featured on the repackaged verison of Katy's third studio album titled "Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection". The song was written by Katy, Bonnie McKee, Lukasz Gottwald, Max Martin, Henry Walker, and poduced by Dr. Luke and Cirkut.

The music video for "Wide Awake" was filmed in 3D and was shot May 1st - May 3rd. It was directed by Tony T. Datis and will be apart of the promotion for her 3D documentary-concert film "Katy Perry: Part of Me". The 2012 Billboard Music Awards will be live tonight (May 20th), Katy has been confirmed to be performing "Wide Awake".
