EP Stream: Florrie – Late

English singer-songwriter and drummer Florrie released her third EP titled "Late". In 2010, she released a four-track EP titled "Introduction", followed by the six-track EP "Experiments" in 2011. This was the final set of independent tracks before moving on to making her major label debut sometime this year. Like her previous offerings, this four track EP has nice mix of synths, smooth vocals, electrifying production, and addictive hooks.

The opening track "Shot You Down" has slight funky disco production, with the beginning lyrics reminiscent of Rihanna's "Man Down". "I'm Gonna Get You Back" is a fast paced guitar heavy track, it's about a women getting her man back. Love the use of synths on "Every Inch", the track could be a huge hit on Billboard's Dance Chart. The closing track "To The End" is my favorite out of all of them. Even though it's not a strong EP closer for some fans, I like the energy that it gives off.

Florrie has been slowly building up her career and all that work is paying off. Make sure you go and get her last independent release.
