Introducing: Betty Who

Introducing Sydney, Australia-based singer-songwriter (currently living in Boston) Betty Who. Back in October 2012, she released a pretty good buzz single "Fire With Fire". Betty is now back with her second single titled "Somebody Loves You".

The track was produced by Peter Thomas, it's a old school 80's synth pop record. When I hear voice, it reminds me of La Roux, Robyn, and Melanie C all in one.

Given an exclusive to arjanwrites, she talked about the song and the inspiration behind it:

"We were writing it the week she had passed away (Whitney Houston) and were feeling inspired by her" Betty said. "The lyrics came really quickly following that. This song is about trying to get somebody to understand that you are totally and wholeheartedly in love with them; that you are the person who falls asleep every night thinking about them".

The official music video has premiered and was directed by Evan Savitt. The visual features Betty practicing aerobics in a studio. Then she calls her friends and decides to enjoy a night out.

She's currently working on her debut album which is set to be released sometime in 2013.
