Dawn Richard releases club-ready new single "Meteors"

Earlier this year, Dawn Richard released her debut album "GoldenHeart", it received great reviews from critics. The singer-songwriter returns with a new single "Meteors", which serves as the first single from her upcoming sophomore album "BlackHeart". This will be the second release from her Heart trilogy. The third and final one "RedemptionHeart" will most likely be released in 2014.

Written by Dawn and produced by Hakan Özkan, "Meteors" goes into a slightly different direction. Both the drums and synths complement well together, making it a great futuristic sound. It also has electronic and R&B influences. The club-ready track is not one of my favorite from Dawn, but you can't deny the uniqueness of her music.

"BlackHeart" is currently set to drop on October 7th.
