New Music: Katy B - 5 AM

British electro singer-songwriter Katy B kicked the summer with the first single "What Love Is Made Of" from her forthcoming album. Now she has released a new song titled "5 AM", the track first premiered on BBC Radio 1. It serves as the second official single from her highly-anticipated sophomore album, which is set to hit stores and digital retailers later this year in the UK via Rinse / Columbia Records.



"5 AM" is another smooth, but dark dance floor tune. It's a 90's inspired dance track with an infectious beat. EDM (Electronic Dance Music) seems to the in thing now, in this case it doesn't play a main role in the production. It probably won't be a massive hit, but it's very refreshing hearing her soulful vocals over nice synth beats.

The single will be released in the UK on (Monday) October 28th.
