V V Brown reveals Part 2 of her Short-Film with "The Apple"
Here's V V Brown's second interesting single "The Apple" from her highly-anticipated album "Samson & Delilah", which is out now in the UK. The album is set to be released on October 8th worldwide via her own record label YOY Records. This new album is the start of a new direction and chapter for the singer-songwriter. She explores and experiment with a darker electronic sound, which is what we got with the first single "Samson". The music was co-produced by Mercury Award winning producer and The Invisible frontman Dave Okumu.
"The Apple" is the work of Pascal Gabriel, the producer is a long time collaborator of Ladyhawke, Kylie Minogue, and Goldfrapp. The electronic dance track has a tiny bit of tribal influence. You may notice that it isn't as 'dark' as the previous single. Yet again another great song by the indie-pop singer. She also recorded another version of "The Apple" in French.

The music video for "The Apple" acts as the second part to the video for "Samson". Both of them together forms a short film to go along with the album release. It was co-directed by Brown and Jessica Hughes (Met Film School Graduate), the black and white visual is depicting the biblical tale of Samson and Delilah. The video follows the journey of a elderly woman, V V makes a cameo dressed like an Geisha.
