Toronto R&B singer Andreena strips "Naked" on her solo album

Singer-songwriter-pianist and Toronto native Andreena (formerly Andreena Mill) teamed up with DJBooth.net to release her first solo album "Naked". When you see this powerhouse singer you may label her as a totally new artist, but she has been working in the music industry since she was a child. In 2001, she was apart of the Canadian trio, X-Quisite, with now Universal Motown artist Melanie Fiona and MTV Canada host Nicole Holness. She has established her own solo career, after releasing her first mixtape "Ready to Fly" in 2009, then signed on as a writer for Universal Music Publishing. Andreena has worked with several other big artists like Drake on The Comeback Season for "Closer".

The album includes 22-tracks that include a combination of full tracks, skits, and Interludes. The project features production from Grammy award winning producer Hit-Boy, as well as Ivan 'Doxortho' Barias and other local producers Rich Kidd, Bass Line, Spinz, and Ricky Tillom Snaz. Andreena herself was hands on with the production and the writing of the music. The album title "Naked" is very appropriate as she gives listeners relateable love stories and an personal insight into her life.

It begins with the sooth finger-snapping track "Naked", then goes into the mellow banger "F.T.L (Forever Type Love)" and I love how "Anything" has that R&B indie-alternative genre with sound of an acoustic guitar. Other album cuts like "As Deep As Your Love", "That's What Love Will Do", and "The Ones" showed a key elements, in which an R&B song should have.

Her latest video above is for the single "Terminator", its off of her acclaimed debut album. In the video, Andreena displays various human emotions of love, loss, and betrayal. The visual was directed by The Russian and feature an appearance from Lisa Raw.
