Coldplay premiere new track "Magic" from upcoming album "Ghost Stories"

After making an unexpected comeback with buzz track "Midnight", Coldplay has premiered their new single entitled "Magic". The track serves as the first official single from their upcoming sixth album "Ghost Stories", which is scheduled to be released on May 19th via Parlophone / Atlantic Records. The album will be the follow up to "Mylo Xyloto", which came out in 2011.

"Magic" is good, but I liked "Midnight" a lot better, because it had that atmospheric vibe. This track shows the band going in a new musical direction. The production has a combination of a electronic beat, with a muted drum and acoustic guitar. Regardless of not being totally in love with it, Coldplay has always made up great material for their albums. I'm still anticipating "Ghost Stories".
