Corina Corina releases "I Can't Resist" + 2nd album "The Free Way" drops March 18th

Brooklyn-based electric indie soul artist Corina Corina premiered the first single and music video from her second full-length album "The Free Way", which is scheduled to be released on March 18th.

"I Can't Resist (feat. Henry Canyons)" is the first official single from Corina Corina's upcoming sophomore album "The Free Way". It's an uptempo track that has a urban pop flavor, mixed with a chilling backing drum-clap beat and horns bumping in the background. It was produced by Willie Green, whose been crafting all the tracks from Corina's new album. The composition and arrangement of the track is awesome as well, everything falls into place. Didn't know nothing about rapper Henry Canyon's before this, he adds a nice touch to the track. As Corina said it herself, she has a unique sound to her voice and is showcasing it in the best way possible.

This project is the follow-up to her 2012 debut album "The Eargasm", available now on her bandcamp page. Among the many indie artists I listen to "The Free Way" is definitely on the top of my list of highly-anticipated releases for 2014.

The music video directed Sean 'dolo' Duckett for dolo productions & filmworks. It was shot in Crown Heights, Brooklyn neighborhood restaurant Chavela' s and an unmarked residential apartment boiler room, accurately depicts the Animal House-like nature of the service industry behind closed doors.
