Ashley Roberts returns with "Woman Up" – Listen/Watch Now

Former member of the Pussycat Dolls Ashley Roberts returns with her new single "Woman Up". Its the follow-up single to "Clockwork", which was revealed in April this year. Both tracks are taken from her upcoming solo debut album "Butterfly Effect", its scheduled to be released in the UK on September 1st via Metropolis Records.

"Woman Up" is a fun, funky, feisty 'woman' anthem. Over the guitar and bass-backed beat, Ashley sings about to the 'fighters and survivors'. The lyrics are very empowering and is said to be inspired by her mother. The vocals on this track aren't where I think it should be, but its not horrible. The music video was bright, fun, and full of energy. It also features a cameo appearances her fellow former Pussycat Doll member Kimberly Wyatt.
