Maroon 5 preps new album "V" with single "Maps" – Listen/Watch Now

Maroon 5 are back after taking a break, the band released a new single titled "Maps". The track serves as the first official single from their upcoming fifth album "V", which is set to hit stores and digital retailers on September 5th via Interscope Record. This album is the follow-up to their highly-successful 2012 album "Overexposed" .

Written and produced by frontman Adam Levine, Ryan Tedder, Benny Blanco, and Noel Zancanella, "Maps" is an mid-tempo pop rock track with a soft breezy guitar lick. Its also has a slightly funkier sound to it, which is a departure from what they would originally release. Lyrically, I like what it speaks on, its about finding that love you lost and using anyway possible to get to him or her. The song reached #6 on the Billboard 100, but it sounds like a #1 to me. Regardless, I recommend this song, can't believe I wanted so long to listen to it.
