Marina and the Diamonds returns with "FROOT" single

Marina and the Diamonds has premiered a new track "FROOT". It's the title-track from her upcoming third album, which is scheduled to be released in early 2015. The LP will be the follow-up to her 2012 album "Electra Heart".

Written by Marina Diamandis and produced by David Kosten & Marina, "FROOT" is a 70's funk disco track. Its a major departure from the electro-pop sound, on her previous album "Electra Heart". She's more than likely moving away from that direction, which I loved and was hoping Marina would create something similar like that again. The audio below features an animation from Bill Richards.
