SEREBRO makes a dark-pop return with "MALO TEBYA"
Russian girl group SEREBRO are back with a new single titled "Malo Tebya" (English: "Little You").
The sexual trio made their debut in 2009, but rose to fame in 2011 with the hit single "Mama Lover". In 2012, they released their second full-length album / debut English language album. The ladies released the buzz track "Sexy Ass" back in March and "Mi Mi Mi" in June, which topped various music charts across Europe (Russia, Netherlands, Italy). This new track serves as the first single from their upcoming third studio album for the Russian market.
"Malo tebya" is a interesting and new sound for SEREBRO. Their past music releases like "Mama Lover" and "Mi Mi Mi" are pop-dance sassy records. This sounds more appealing mature, and dark. The production that incorporates dubstep and electronica. When it was released, the single charted in the fifth position both in Russia and the Ukraine.
Just like all their other videos, this was provocative and had explicit sexual references. For the people that know of SEREBRO, are known for being sexual and having an raunchy influenced style. They definitely like to push the boundaries. In the visual, their were nipslips, some nudity for Olga, standing and laying in the bed in their underwear, the use of male models, and much more random stuff.
I'm hearing that English version of the song is going to get made soon for the International market. Hopefully that's true, because its one of the trio's best songs released this year.
