Kimbra reveals chaotic new single "90's Music" – Listen/Watch Now
New Zealand-born, Melbourne-based pop singer-songwriter Kimbra shot to international with her collaboration with Gotye on their Grammy award-winning song "Somebody That I Used to Know". Now she's back with the reveal of her new single "90's Music. The track serves as the first official single from her upcoming sophomore album "The Golden Echo", which is set to hit stores and digital retailers August 19th via Warner Bros. Records. It will be the follow-up to her 2011 (2012 in the US) debut studio album "Vows".
Produced by Rich Costey and Major Dudes, "90's Music" experiments with R&B and electronic, it also features guitar skills of Muse's frontman Matt Bellamy. Kimbra stated during her interview with New Zealand’s George FM that the song is "an exciting and playful introduction to the record". I wouldn't say it sounds exciting. The production seems all out of place and not very appealing for me at least.

The visual is suppose to represent what she wants to explore musically. I disliked the song, but the video was cool to watch.
