Recently I blogged about FEMM's (Far East Mention Mannequins) flawless single "Fxxk Boyz Get Money". Now I want introduce the duo's other great tracks. FEMM began in 2013 and the concept surrounding them is wanting to collect mannequins from all over the world that meet a 'Certain Criteria' through FEMM's Agency Syndicate. By incorporating a device into mannequins that have met the standards, they themselves become "FEMM". The duo are known as SW-000000 (RiRi) and MS-000000 (LuLa). Their agents are Honey-B, who is RiRi's secret agent and W-Trouble is LuLa's agent. Both of them wanted to produce more FEMM besides them, so they decided to enter the music scene.

Back in October last year, the duo first made their appearance known with a teaser video that was crafted like into an high quality Hollywood-esqe trailer. It was directed by creative unit IKIOI, whose done music videos for hardcore troop FACT and POP DISASTER. The trailer is very interesting, a lot of thought was put into it and you'll be able to understand there concept a little more. It wasn't until February of 2014, the duo revealed the very pink music video for "UFO". The song is a cover of the 1977 hit single by Pink Lady featuring Fz (half of electronic rockers sfpr). This track was FEMM's introduction to the world.

On April 2nd, FEMM dropped their official debut single "Astroboy". The track was written and produced by Brian Lee, Stuart Critchon and Ruby Rose. Brian Lee is one of many A-list collaborators, he's know for his work with Icona Pop and Owl City.

If look at their official website, you'll see a pyramid with each triangle representing a new song and its music video awaiting to be released. Since the release of "Astroboy" in April, they've been dropping tracks and visuals left and right. All the music has been produced by the most prominent producers who's worked with Beyonce, Deadmau5 and Lady Gaga. The videos may seem low budget to some people, but every single one is different and the choreography that's done is executed perfectly. The concept may seem a bit odd at first, but once you being to understand it and become to realize it was a great idea. The duo aren't sticking to one sound and image. They've tried many different genres and has changed up their style to go with the song. FEMM has already established a growing fanbase and the anticipation behind every upcoming release continue to build.
