New Music: Tinashe - Pretend (Feat. A$AP Rocky)

While her ScHoolboy Q-assisted single "2 On" is still doing well on the charts, currently sitting at #24 on the Billboard Hot 100, singer-songwriter Tinashe will soon have another song on there as well. She has premiere her second official single titled "Pretend" featuring A$AP Rocky. It will be on her upcoming highly-anticipated debut album "Aquarius", which is scheduled to be released on October 7th via RCA Records.


Produced by Detail (Beyonce's "Drunk In Love" / Jennifer Lopez "I Luh Ya Papi"), "Pretend" is a major step away from her laidback R&B club hit "2 On", but its still great listen. The track is in a form of ballad, that has a clam and chill vibe to it, thanks to the production. If you've followed Tinashe from the beginning, you know that she has a beautiful voice and you'll it stands out the most when she sings a slower song. Her voice truly shines on "Pretend", Tinashe does the R&B genre extremely well. Once again it may not have the power that "2 On" had, but its's a solid effort to her monster her hit.
