Nicki Minaj shoots "Starships" music video [Photos]

Nicki Minaj is in Hawaii this week to shoot her music video for her newest single "Starships". The has made it way up the Billboard Hot 100 at #6, with it current position being #9. Its also reached #3 on the UK Single Charts, making it the highest charting single by a female rapper in UK chart history.

The will on Roman's upcoming sophomore album "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. The video is being shot by director Anthony Mandler who has worked several other artists like Drake, Rihanna and Jay-Z. Check out the pictures, after the jump. You can also see some other pictures on Vh1's music blog.
