On (Tuesday) March 13th,
Ashanti stopped by the BET's '106 & Park' to premiere her Sc-Fi inspired video for "
The Woman You Love" featuring Busta Rhymes. She officially announced the title of her fifth studio album, which is "Braveheart" and talked about launching her own label Written Entertainment.
"It was really important to me to just become an owner", said the singer.
"It was really scary and really nerve-racking going into it businesswise, but it was the best business move I could have ever made. I own my masters and the percentages are completely different, so I’m very excited about that".
"Braveheart" is set to be released in the spring. Ashanti didn't say much about guest collaborations, but she did say that theirs one male and one female collabo. The Boombox did report that R. Kelly and Keyshia Cole were the featured guests. Check out the interview, after the jump.
